The woman behind HER RESET

I started exactly where I was.

At 330 pounds, I knew I wanted something different for myself. I didn't have everything figured out. I just started, kept learning, and kept going. Today I'm 236 pounds, and my journey is still unfolding.

HER RESET is a space to share the habits, beginner-friendly movement, and encouragement that helped me. I'm not a certified personal trainer. I'm a woman who knows how intimidating the beginning can feel.

“You don't have to have it all together to begin again.”

A sample week

Start where your body is today.

You don't need to go from zero to seven gym days. Here's a simple example of a beginner week. Move at your own pace and modify as needed.

Monday · Full body basics5-minute easy warm-up, chair sit-to-stands, wall push-ups, standing marches, and a short cooldown. Start with 1 set of 8–10 repetitions.
Tuesday · Gentle movementTry a comfortable 10–15 minute walk, or break it into shorter walks.
Wednesday · Strength foundationsWarm up, then try supported step-backs, seated knee lifts, and wall push-ups. Start with 1 set of 8–10.
Thursday · Rest or stretchRecovery counts. Choose gentle mobility if it feels good.
Friday · Repeat & buildRepeat Monday's exercises. Add a few repetitions only if you're comfortable.
Weekend · Your paceOne optional easy walk and one full rest day. Consistency matters more than perfection.
